2023 has been an incredibly challenging year for The River Church (TRC), and we have weathered many storms. Having an older edifice, we have had a leaking roof for quite some time that has resulted in ceiling collapses in several areas throughout our facility. We have had to increase security measures as our building was broken into. We have had to replace one HVAC unit and significantly repair another. We also had a very serious plumbing obstruction that required a very invasive method of resolution. Tending to the aforementioned situations has demanded thousands, depleted our savings, and, in several instances, not allowed us to meet our overhead expenses. Unfortunately, the reality of this situation has left us facing the possibility of being displaced from our worship location. Be that as it may, I am reaching out to you because, yes, we need your prayers, your faith, and we also need your help. 

 

We are asking that all persons - if this ministry is a blessing to you, has been a blessing to you, or you just believe in the Word of God over our lives and this vision - help us to meet our goal. After much negotiation, we have been able to reach an agreement with our landlord and the roof is finally being fully replaced, preventing further leaks. The damages within the building are yet ours to tend to, as well as the responsibility of bringing our accounts current. We are believing God to be able to raise $30,000 in the next 60 days. With your help and your support, I do believe it’s possible. 

 

For the purposes of accountability and transparency, we are asking that all donations be given through our public Givelify link. This way, you always have the ability to see where we are on track with our goal. All donations are tax deductible. No amount is too small and, certainly, no amount is too large. We have no catch phrases or coercive promises; we are, however, firm in our belief that God will honor the fact that you remembered one of His houses. Our prayer is that, as you bless our house, that God would continually and abundantly bless your house.
